Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 10/13/2025 | Last Updated: 10/25/2026
Welcome to M Aesthetics. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the M Aesthetics website, including information about services, appointment scheduling, memberships, promotional offers, skincare recommendations, and other website features. M Aesthetics ("Practice," "we," "us," or "our") is a medical aesthetics practice located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge these Terms. Certain services, purchases, appointments, and memberships may require separate agreements or consent.
1. GENERAL WEBSITE USE
The website provides information about medical aesthetics services, skincare products, treatment options, memberships, promotions, and appointment scheduling. Visitors must use it lawfully, provide accurate information when submitting requests, refrain from unauthorized access or interference, and respect intellectual property rights. We may restrict access as reasonably necessary to protect security or comply with law.
2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Website content is for general educational and informational purposes only and is not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Services may include neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling, laser and light-based treatments, chemical peels, and skincare recommendations. Procedures involve potential risks, contraindications, and complications. Treatment suitability requires individualized clinical assessment. No specific outcome is guaranteed. For a medical emergency, call 911; do not use website forms, email, or social media for emergencies.
3. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING
Appointments may be requested through an authorized booking platform or by contacting the Practice. All appointments are subject to confirmation and availability. Some treatments require consultation or medical evaluation. We may reschedule, modify, or decline appointments when clinically appropriate or when circumstances prevent safe treatment.
4. APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Certain appointments require deposits generally ranging from $50 to $100, depending on the service; applicable deposits are credited toward treatment charges. At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. Late changes or missed appointments may result in forfeiture of the applicable deposit as disclosed at booking. Requests must be made by approved telephone, text, or email channels; social media direct messages are not accepted as official cancellations. See the separate Cancellation Policy at www.maestheticspdx.com/cancellation-policy. Nothing here limits applicable legal rights.
5. MEDICAL TREATMENTS & INFORMED CONSENT
Patients may need to complete medical history documentation, disclose relevant medications and conditions, undergo assessment, and sign procedure-specific informed consent forms. Providers may decline or postpone treatment when medically inappropriate. These website Terms do not replace clinical consent or alter professional standards of care.
6. TREATMENT RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS
Outcomes vary by anatomy, age, skin condition, medical history, lifestyle, product selection, and individual response. We do not guarantee specific results, duration, correction of concerns, or absence of side effects. Additional treatments or maintenance may be recommended. Discuss expectations with your provider before treatment.
7. SERVICE PRICING & PAYMENTS
Treatment pricing may vary with individual needs and treatment plans. Advertised prices are subject to disclosed promotional conditions. Applicable charges will be communicated before services are performed. Payment is generally due at the time of service unless another arrangement is authorized. Additional products or treatments require appropriate authorization.
8. TREATMENT REFUNDS
Completed medical treatments are not automatically refundable solely because a patient is dissatisfied with the cosmetic outcome. Concerns should be raised directly with the Practice for assessment and follow-up. Refunds and other remedies will be provided where required by law or binding agreement. These Terms do not waive claims for negligence, improper treatment, misrepresentation, or other protected rights.
9. SKINCARE PRODUCTS & AFFILIATE LINKS
The website may link to independent skincare retailers or authorized brand sites. M Aesthetics does not process payments, ship orders, or administer refunds for purchases completed with those independent sellers; their terms and applicable law govern those transactions. M Aesthetics may earn commissions on qualifying affiliate purchases. Material affiliate relationships must also be disclosed clearly near relevant product links, not solely in these Terms.
10. IN-CLINIC SKINCARE PURCHASES & RETURNS
For products purchased directly at the Practice, unopened and unused skincare products may be returned or exchanged within 14 calendar days of purchase when original packaging and manufacturer seals are intact, proof of purchase is provided, and the product has not been altered or damaged after purchase. Opened or used products, complimentary samples, promotional gifts, and items clearly marked final sale are generally not eligible for discretionary returns. Contact the Practice about defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied products. If an unexpected skin reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek appropriate medical advice. Opened products are not automatically refundable solely because of sensitivity or dissatisfaction. Approved refunds generally return to the original payment method. Applicable legal rights remain unaffected. See the separate Retail Product Return & Refund Policy.
11. BEAUTY BANK MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Beauty Bank memberships have recurring monthly charges at the rate disclosed during enrollment. Members must affirmatively authorize recurring billing and receive applicable disclosures and acknowledgment. There is no minimum enrollment commitment. Members may request cancellation at any time with at least 30 days’ notice, using the accessible cancellation method disclosed at enrollment. Payments falling within that notice period may be owed only when properly disclosed, authorized, and lawful; recurring charges cease after effective cancellation except for amounts lawfully owed. Following cancellation, the Practice provides a 12-month post-cancellation redemption window for remaining Beauty Bank funds, but no prepaid funds will expire or be forfeited where prohibited by Oregon or federal law. Eligible membership tiers may include a complimentary peel or microneedling service after six completed monthly membership payments; members canceling before six qualifying payments are ineligible for that benefit. Complimentary services require medical suitability and appointment availability. Material membership changes will be handled with legally required notice and consent. Separate enrollment terms control additional tier-specific benefits.
12. GIFT CARDS & PREPAID SERVICES
Purchased gift cards, gift certificates, and qualifying prepaid balances are governed by Oregon and federal consumer protection law. Where prohibited, they will not expire or incur inactivity fees. Promotional or complimentary credits may have separate clearly disclosed lawful restrictions. Cash redemption rights will be honored where required. Treatment packages may carry additional terms disclosed before purchase.
13. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL OFFERS
Seasonal specials, introductory pricing, model opportunities, and packages may have disclosed eligibility requirements, expiration dates, limited availability, qualifying treatment rules, and restrictions on combining offers. Medical eligibility remains required. Future promotions may change or end, but completed transactions and enforceable rights will be honored.
14. MODEL APPOINTMENTS & SPECIAL PRICING
Discounted model treatments may involve additional eligibility, scheduling, or documentation requirements. Participation does not automatically authorize photography, filming, or publication. Identifiable patient images and protected health information will be used for marketing only with appropriate separate authorization.
15. PHOTOGRAPHY, TESTIMONIALS & MARKETING CONTENT
Treatment photos, testimonials, and videos are illustrative and do not guarantee results. Outcomes and presentation may vary. Appropriate authorization is required before using identifiable patient information for marketing. Patients may decline optional marketing photography without losing access to medically appropriate care.
16. PRIVACY & PATIENT INFORMATION
Personal information collected through inquiries, booking, membership enrollment, and other interactions will be handled under applicable privacy law and the separate Website Privacy Policy. Protected health information will be handled under applicable healthcare privacy requirements, including HIPAA where applicable. Avoid transmitting sensitive medical details through unsecured channels. Any required Notice of Privacy Practices is separate from these Terms.
17. EMAIL & TEXT COMMUNICATIONS
Appointment, service, membership, and promotional communications will follow applicable consent and marketing laws. Recipients may unsubscribe or opt out using provided instructions. Consent to marketing is not a condition of medical treatment except as lawfully permitted.
18. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES & SERVICES
The website may link to independent scheduling platforms, retailers, manufacturers, payment providers, and social media sites. Third parties have their own terms and privacy practices. M Aesthetics does not control those independent services, except to the extent responsibilities are imposed by law.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Original website text, photos, graphics, branding, logos, and design elements are owned by or licensed to M Aesthetics unless stated otherwise. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial exploitation is prohibited except as permitted by law.
20. WEBSITE ACCURACY & AVAILABILITY
We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but website material may contain errors or become outdated. Content may be corrected, updated, or temporarily unavailable for maintenance or security. This provision does not excuse legally required disclosures or clinical obligations.
21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, M Aesthetics is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from ordinary website interruptions, technical errors, or unauthorized third-party misuse beyond its reasonable control. Nothing limits liability for medical malpractice, professional negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, statutory violations, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
22. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES
Oregon law governs these Terms except where federal law controls. Patients and customers are encouraged to contact the Practice about concerns. These Terms do not prevent regulatory complaints or lawful remedies.
23. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in operations, services, or law and will publish a revised effective date. Material changes affecting existing purchases or agreements will receive any notice or consent required by law.
24. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
